I love pinning as much as the next girl. I definitely spend way too much time on Pinterest, but that means my boards are full of pretty pieces. Here are some of my most recent pins that I just can't stop looking at! I am obsessed with this calf hair clutch from C. Wonder, and this pave link bracelet from Glam Grab. I have to have them!!!

Trend Alert: Black & White

Every spring we see pastels and bright colors all over the runways and in our favorite stores, but this year the biggest trend for spring is black and white. Personally, I love the contrast of black and white. It can feel very crisp and fresh, which is exactly what you want in a spring wardrobe. Sequin Charm

I believe sequins are a girls best friend. They dress up almost any outfit and make me feel flirty and girly. I love this sequin top for date nights with my husband or a girls night out, especially with a sharp blazer thrown over it.

Aztec Booties

 

 

I found these awesome Aztec boots at Nordstrom Rack last weekend and I have been dying to wear them. I love how the sweater material on the boots makes them so cozy and warm, perfect for all the cold days we have been having out here in California. Paired with colored denim and an oversize sweater make for the perfect weekend outfit.

A Pop of Neon

I wear black almost every day, so I try to add pieces to my closet that allow me to keep my black on black uniform while still adding a hint of color here and there to keep things fresh. I absolutely love this neon lemon-lime necklace (sold out, similar here). I have worn it with everything from a casual t-shirt and jeans to a cocktail dress and I always get a ton of compliments on it.

A few months ago I pinned the picture above on Pinterest and every time I see it I am reminded how cute that sequin clutch is. The clutch in the picture is from Zara and has been sold out since I pinned it, but I found some look-a-like clutches and I might just have to get one for myself.

Staying Warm in Faux Fur

I love how a faux fur vest (similar here) adds a surprising element of style to any outfit. It is also a great way to stay warm during these cold months while still showing off your cute dress or outfit. Keeping my accessories neutral lets the bold print of this Parker dress take center stage. I like to wear my hair up with this vest to keep the look sleek and polished.

Color of the Moment

Every year Pantone announces the color of the year, and for 2013 that color is Emerald! Being a May born baby, I have always liked Emerald jewelry since that is my birthstone. Plus who can forget the gorgeous emerald earrings Angelina Jolie wore to the Oscars a few years ago? (See them here) Now that emerald is the color of the year we can look forward to more then just jewelry in this bold tone.

Goodbye 2012, Hello 2013!

Over the last year, Keke Couture has been on hold while I planned my wedding. 2012 was an amazing year full of engagement parties, showers, and finally the wedding of my dreams. But now that 2013 has arrived it is time to turn my attention back to what I really love, fashion! Here are a few photos from our wedding at Viansa Winery in Sonoma, California.
