One of my favorite ways to transition from summer to fall is a great bootie. Right now I am obsessed with booties with hardware or laces, which make them more edgy. If you want a less casual bootie, find one with a chunky heel rather then a flat sole to dress it up a tad. Either way you can't go wrong!

How to: Travel In Style
Over the last few months I have been working like crazy and traveling in all my free time, which got me thinking about doing a post on how to travel stylishly yet comfortably. Deciding what to wear when you travel can be a daunting task. When I fly I like to look presentable but still be as comfortable as possible. I always start with my favorite jeans or leggings paired with a slouchy t-shirt and either a blazer or wrap sweater to bring the look together. Bringing a big scarf is another one of my must have items when I travel. I like to wrap up in my scarf on the plane since I am always cold when I fly. And lastly, make sure you choose a comfortable pair of flats or boots for those long walks through the airport. If you're traveling to and from somewhere warm you can always swap out the jeans and t-shirt for a maxi dress, which still looks great with a blazer and scarf thrown over it. Besides my travel outfit, my other go to items when I travel are a large tote bag that fits my ipad, laptop, makeup and jewelry as well as this awesome aluminum carry on suitcase from Rimowa. Happy Travels!

Blue and White and Striped All Over
Last weekend I was in San Francisco with some girlfriends and I picked
up two new items to add to my closet. I am absolutely obsessed with my
new jacket. It is the perfect lightweight piece for Spring and it is
beyond comfortable. I also grabbed this adorable blue and white striped
top. I have a lot of striped tunics, but I just can't resist them. What
are some of your go to pieces for Spring?
