A Day in the Wine Country

This past weekend, my family and I drove up to the wine country for the famous barrel tasting weekend. Wineries all over the valley invite members to come taste their latest wines straight from the barrel. It is basically an excuse to socialize, eat great food, buy lots of wine and drink. Instead of going to the always crowded Napa Valley, we went to the less explored Dry Creek Valley to one of my favorite wineries, Dry Creek. Below are pictures from the area and the cutest general store I have every seen. This weekend we are headed to Lake Tahoe for a wedding so expect more travel pictures next week!

Wine Country

This past weekend I went home to California and my family and I decided to take a little trip up to the wine country and go to Napa Valley. Napa is a mix of rolling hills and fancy retaurants, which gives it a country-casual yet chic vibe. So how does one dress for a day in the vineyards followed by shopping downtown Napa and eating at some of the best restaurants in the country?
