Summer Beauty Regimen

With the summer heat headed our way it is time to simplify my beauty routine. Personally I love having a less "make-up-y" look and a more natural glow during the summer months, not only because I get to sleep in a little longer, but because my skin always feels so healthy without so much makeup covering it up. It is so important to wear sunscreen, and one of my favorite ways to start my beauty regimen is with some tinted moisturizer with SPF, it's like three steps in one! To give my face some definition I like to sweep on blush or bronzer on the apple of my cheeks. Finally I line my eyes and add a little mascara and I'm ready to go!

Splurge VS. Steal - Resort Vacation

Going to a tropical destination and want to look glam? Here are two outfit options that are sure to have you looking like a celebrity by the pool or beach. The first outfit is a splurge totalling $2,317, while the other outfit is a steal at $380. Both are equally chic, so it is up to you, splurge? or steal?

Tie Dye-Tastic!

When I think of tie dye I used to think of ratty old t-shirts with Jerry Garcia's face on them, but now tie dye has a whole new image and I am LOVING it. Tie dye is back and better then ever with a new, more sophisticated look. When shopping for tie dye look for pieces that are only in one color and if there are multiple colors make sure they are in the same pallet, aka no rainbow tie dye, and keep the rest of your outfit simple. Try a tie dye t-shirt with jean shorts or a tie dye maxi dress with simple sandals and moderate accessories. Here are some of my favorite items to try.
