Tie Dye-Tastic!

When I think of tie dye I used to think of ratty old t-shirts with Jerry Garcia's face on them, but now tie dye has a whole new image and I am LOVING it. Tie dye is back and better then ever with a new, more sophisticated look. When shopping for tie dye look for pieces that are only in one color and if there are multiple colors make sure they are in the same pallet, aka no rainbow tie dye, and keep the rest of your outfit simple. Try a tie dye t-shirt with jean shorts or a tie dye maxi dress with simple sandals and moderate accessories. Here are some of my favorite items to try.

Tangerine Dream

Bright colors are so in this season and I am loving the tangerine orange that is taking over the fashion scene. With summer approaching, tangerine is the perfect color to show off that tan and enhance the summer glow. I love mixing things up and accessorizing this look with bold jewelry, like a turquoise necklace. If adding another bright color isn't your thing, be super chic by mixing a bright peace with neutrals.

Animal Print

Animal print is always a fall staple, but this year it's taking front stage and celebrity Rachel Bilson Showed us how to do it right. I am totally head over heals for this dress, but until I can afford a Roberto Cavalli creation, lets look at how the rest of us can work animal prints in to our wardrobe.

When choosing animal print there is a fine line between classy and, um, not classy. I find the best way to add this feisty pattern is with accessories. Add a pair of cheetah booties to jeans and a black sweater and your outfit instantly goes from blah to chic. Or try an animal print handbag to jazz up any outfit. One of my favorite ways to wear this trend is with a printed scarf. So add some animal print to your look and be fierce!

Girly Rocker from day to night
