Valentines Day

I have never been a huge fan of Valentines Day, but after being in a relationship for several years I realize that it is nice to have a day that forces you to actually take the time to show that special someone how much you love them. If you make the day about doing nice things for each other and letting people know just how much they mean to you, it no longer feels like a hallmark holiday, but a nice and needed break from the daily grind. Nautical Summer

One of my favorite trends for summer is the nautical look. There is something so chic and Parisian about red or navy stripes, and it is such an easy look to pull together. If you are worried about stripes making you look wider than you are, make sure to choose a vertical stripe or keep horizontal stripes small and close together. Pair your stripes with jeans or shorts and channel you inner sailor.
