Shopping Day

This past weekend, I was feeling a little trapped between a mound of laundry that needed to be done and a list of 10 errands to be run. So I decided to avoid it all and do a little shopping with some girlfriends instead. I have really been into statement jewelry pieces for spring since they are an easy way to spice up any outfit and I picked up two necklaces I am DYING to wear. Both will look fabulous with party dresses or a simple white tee and jeans. Even though I was really on a jewelry hunt, I also found two fun print dresses for spring. I am really pleased with my purchases and feel like I got a good jump on my new spring wardrobe. Happy Spring time :)

I have been eyeing this dress for a while now, and I want it so bad! I just can't justify the price right now, so begins my search for a similar style with a less hefty price tag. I will let you know if I find something just as dazzling, but more affordable.

Wrap Bracelets

I am currently obsessed with the fashion friendship bracelet otherwise known as the wrap bracelet. They are a great way to pile on accessories when you are going for a more casual look. I am especially loving how they give the same look as bangles, but are SO much more comfortable and don't make all the annoying noise (you know what I'm talking about). Try pairing a wrap bracelet with some woven friendship bracelets or wear them alone.

Valentines Day

I have never been a huge fan of Valentines Day, but after being in a relationship for several years I realize that it is nice to have a day that forces you to actually take the time to show that special someone how much you love them. If you make the day about doing nice things for each other and letting people know just how much they mean to you, it no longer feels like a hallmark holiday, but a nice and needed break from the daily grind.
